Well, the first actual “blurb” for the book has come out, courtesy of Eau Claire, Wisconsin’s newspaper, The Leader-Telegram. You can read it here.
Two things:
1. If I’d have known the picture of me would be that big, I’d have chosen a better picture. As it is, I can’t stop staring at my unkempt tuft of hair hanging atop my sideburn. Look at it. It’s like a little wing made of hair, waiting for the winds of humiliation to carry me away.
2. The actual title of the book is The Unauthorized Biography of Michele Bachmann (and other stories). Not “Unofficial.”
As it stands, I’m grateful for the little blurb nonetheless and it was nice of Rob Hanson to take the time to talk with me. I’m a good sport about the little things, and I should mention I have cut my hair recently and am currently “tuft-free.”
Another Review Forthcoming (possibly)
I received an email from a book reviewer who I’d accidentally inundated with emails (two), and it turns out I caught her during a moment where she had some free time and was willing to read the book. She doesn’t review the book if she doesn’t like it, and it’s possible I’m jinxing things just by mentioning it. Regardless, I trudge on. Soon: another review in Midwest Book Reviews and another article, this time in a Madison newspaper.
Next: let’s try and get Milwaukee’s daily to write something up …

It appears the reporter has changed the title in the online version of the article. Good news. I recommend checking out PW Select, the self-pub insert of Publisher’s Weekly for reviewing. They were very good to me. Good luck. I’m enjoying reading about your journey.
